Dirk began his tiling career in Germany in 2004, completing a traditional apprenticeship before qualifying as a professional tiler. Driven by a passion for quality craftsmanship, he continued to expand his expertise by attending a prestigious Master Craftsman School for tilers, where he further developed the advanced technical skills and attention to detail that define his work today.

Following several years leading tiling teams and managing high-quality projects throughout Germany, Dirk relocated to New Zealand in 2015. Here, he shared his knowledge by training and mentoring other tilers before establishing Rocket Tiling in Auckland in 2021.
