Founded by Sam Colthurst—a flooring professional with extensive experience across residential, commercial, and new build sectors—our business was built on a simple philosophy: give back to Northland and look after the locals. Sam’s career spans roles with Harvey Norman, Tile Warehouse, and Carpet Mill as National Sales Manager, giving him a high-level understanding of product specification and project delivery. In 2019, he took over Floorwise Northland, growing it from 2 to 32 team members, before rebranding to Colthurst Flooring in 2021 to create a distinctly local, customer-focused experience.
